Kalley Colling (Mrs. Colling) grew up in Loretto, MN and graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a degree in Educational Studies. During her time at UMD, she got involved with the Newman Catholic Center, and that’s where her love for the Catholic faith really came alive and began to flourish. She spent a year in Florida volunteering for a Catholic school and upon her return to Duluth, she met her now-husband, Teddy.
After graduating, Kalley was a part of the St. John’s community during the 2020-2021 school year as the E1 assistant. She grew in love and appreciation for Montessori education and found so much joy in the classroom. After getting married in May of 2021, her husband’s desire to attend grad school brought them down to Orlando, FL, where she worked as a Middle School teacher in a Catholic school. Soon after moving across the country, they found out they were expecting their first child! Sweet little Maren Siena was born in April of 2022 and shortly after, she moved back to MN to be closer to family and friends. She is so excited that an opportunity to be back at St. John’s has been made possible. She looks forward to reconnecting with former staff and students, along with meeting the new faces she will encounter. Oh yea, and baby #2 is due at the end of February! God is good!
