MaryKatherine (Mrs. Eilen) is extremely excited to start her time serving St. John the Baptist Catholic Montessori School as the incoming principal! She is someone who has a deep love for Jesus and His Church and has felt His call to serve in Catholic education. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in music education, she has spent years working as a music teacher, physical education teacher, administrative assistant, marketing and development director, and principal intern while at another Catholic school in the Archdiocese. She felt called to continue her journey of serving in Catholic schools after attending the Catholic School Leadership Program at the St. Paul Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. It is through her time in that program that she knew the Lord was asking her to use her gifts of leadership in Catholic schools.
Outside of work, MaryKatherine enjoys spending time with her husband, John, and is looking forward to celebrating their one year anniversary in July of 2023 as well as the arrival of their first child! She has a great love for the state of Minnesota and will continue to cheer on all of its sports teams and hopefully one day will get to experience a winning championship. After growing up with 9 brothers and sisters, she is someone who is never far from others and loves spending time with both family and friends. She is very much looking forward to being a part of this wonderful community and meeting everyone!
